Application Fee: USD $50
International students are considered to be non-residents for tuition purposes as long as they are in the United States on a
non-immigrant visa (F, M, J, L, A, etc.). The following are estimated expenses for a student in college-level programs or
Intensive ESL study for one quarter (approximately 3 months). The costs are subject to change without notice.
Living expenses will vary, depending upon how students manage their money.
Each of our colleges lists the steps for applying on its own website. After students decide which college to attend,
they should follow the steps listed by the college. The criteria for acceptance are the same at all our colleges.
Each college provides assistance to international students in finding appropriate housing. Visit each college website for details about this assistance.
International Student Services
Each college has an International Student Services office to help students with arrival, getting acquainted, campus and community orientation,
housing, social activities and many other services.
Quarter / Semester
Some institutions in the USA operate on a semester basis (2 semesters in a year, usually 4-5 months per semester) or a quarter basis.
Many institutions on the West Coast of the USA are on a quarter system, which is typically 11-12 weeks.
For institutions on the quarter system, there are 3 quarters in the normal year (Fall, Winter, Spring) and students
may choose to also attend Summer quarter. Seattle Community Colleges use the quarter system.
